Al Stevenson had worked with Cofounder/CTO Shaun Zacharaia during their seed stage to hire the first Director of Engineering. TripleLift came back to 33eleven Partners directly in 2019 through newly hired Chief Product Officer Andrew Eiffler. Over three years we ran three searches, all of them in product and data science, as the company scaled through hyper-growth.

TripleLift hired a product leader for video in 2019. Two years later it hired product ownership for connected TV, then a product data science leader, then a VP above them.
That is what a company looks like when it is working out that its real product is the marketplace rather than the ad format. Each search was a step further into pricing, matching, and yield, and each one needed someone more quantitative than the last.
A sequence of searches at one client tells you where the company thinks its value is moving. By the fourth, we were not being briefed on a role. We were being told what the business had decided it was.
