Every subscription business knows its own churn. Almost none know how it compares.
Antenna measures the subscription economy from the outside. The platform reads customer transaction data across services to show growth, churn, retention, and switching behaviour, giving streaming, media, and subscription companies a view of the market that their own internal dashboards cannot produce.
Backed by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, Raine Ventures, Waverley Capital, and LightShed Ventures.
the engagement
A founder referral brought 33eleven Partners to Antenna in late 2022, when the company was hiring its first VP of Engineering.
Three years later, when that leader moved on, Antenna came back for the same title. The company had doubled and the role had changed.
PLACEMENTS
2023 · Vice President of Engineering
2026 · Vice President of Engineering
“I’ve worked with a number of search firms over the years and my experience with 33eleven was head & shoulders above the rest. They really took the time to understand our company’s specific pain points and culture — and they found an amazing, personalized pool of candidates for us to chat with. Talking to such a talented, relevant pool of candidates also allowed me to better understand exactly what it is I was looking for. At the end of the day, we quickly found the right person for our company in a way I’m quite sure we wouldn’t have without 33eleven.”
PARTNERSHIP INSIGHTS
Same client. Same title. A completely different search.
In 2023 Antenna needed someone to build an engineering team and put real systems underneath a growing product. We hired for range, judgment, and the patience to build things other people would inherit.
By 2026 that was no longer the job. Antenna had doubled, its customers had come to depend on the data platform, and the entire subscription market it measures had been reshaped by what AI made possible. The VP Engineering role now had to carry all of the original mandate plus a new one: ship AI products, and set AI strategy across a company already running at scale.
Most firms would have treated the second engagement as a rerun of the first. We did not, because we had been paying attention to Antenna for three years. We knew how the product had evolved, where the platform had strained, what the co-founders had learned about their own market, and which parts of the original brief no longer applied.
Both searches produced one hire. The second required knowing exactly what had changed.
33eleven Partners places VP through C-suite leaders at Private Equity and Venture-backed SaaS, AI, and technology companies.
